At Devonshire Primary School, we are seeking to appoint an excellent full-time teacher to join our team. This is a permanent post.
The successful candidate will be passionate about planning and providing opportunities for our children to develop, learn and grow academically, socially and emotionally and have high expectations of both the children and themselves.
Devonshire Primary School is a 3 form entry primary school located in South Sutton. We have approx 690 children on roll. Our staff and governors are committed to providing the best possible outcomes for the children at Devonshire. We strive for our children to become active and inquisitive learners as well as proud members of the Devonshire community.
We have bright and modern learning facilities which are well equipped for enabling children to reach their potential, both inside and outside of the classroom. We have very attractive grounds which include a large playground, a playing field and a school garden. We provide a wide variety of extra curricular activities offered to children, providing them with additional opportunities to develop their learning and skills.
When Ofsted visited us in May 2019, they commented on the strong sense of community in the school and the fact that staff and pupils told them that they were proud to be members of the school.
