The Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join The Dorcan Academy as our Senior Cover Supervisor, leading and coordinating the day-to-day delivery of centralised cover while supporting high-quality learning across the academy. The successful candidate will line-manage a team of cover supervisors, work closely with curriculum leaders and pastoral teams and play a key role in ensuring students experience consistency, structure and positive relationships throughout the school day. Beyond lesson cover, the role offers the opportunity to contribute more widely to academy life through mentoring, pastoral support and working with students across a range of settings. This position would suit a confident, organised and adaptable individual who believes in high expectations, strong relationships and creating an environment where every student is able to thrive and succeed.
