At Dubai College, sport is a key vehicle for character education, and the Netball Coach plays an important role in developing students’ confidence, resilience, discipline and teamwork. Working closely with the Director of Netball and the wider PE team, the coach contributes to a high-quality programme of training, competition and enrichment, aligned with the College’s Character Development Activities (CDA).
The role involves supporting students across a wide range of abilities, ensuring sessions are purposeful, inclusive and appropriately challenging, while contributing to the wider life of the school. Netball is embedded both within the curriculum and the co-curricular programme, with sessions taking place before school, at lunchtime and after school.
Beyond competition, the programme emphasises enjoyment, commitment and personal development.
