Welcome to Dundry C of E Primary School. We are a small school situated on Dundry Hill, enjoying spectacular views over Bristol and the Severn Bridges towards Wales. The school has been on this site and serving the community of Dundry since 1858 and continues to enjoy strong links with the local church.

The main school building which dates from 1858, provides the school hall, one classroom and the offices. There are three additional classrooms close to the main building. Adjacent to the school is the main playground and ‘Book Nook’ a purpose built wooden building used as a reading are and small group room.

We make good use of our grounds for sports and outdoor learning. In 2021 we will be revamping and improving our outside area for our youngest children with a brand-new and bespoke outdoor learning area.The staff are dedicated, enthusiastic and inspiring and our children are polite, happy and engaged. There is always a buzz in every classroom!

Our school is a happy, friendly place where children are supported to develop into confident individuals. There is a strong family ethos where everyone knows and supports everyone else.

We aspire for our children to become resilient and creative learners, who show respect for others and the world around them. Above all, we will inspire our children through our curriculum and wider opportunities to achieve their best in all things.

Our school is on a journey of improvement, always aiming to be reflective and aspire to offer our children the very best education possible. We work closely with other schools in the Midsomer Norton Partnership Trust to ensure we are always forward thinking and improving our offer to our children.

The Midsomer Norton Schools' Partnership was founded in 2009 following the hard federation between Norton Hill and Somervale Secondary Schools. Since this point the Trust has grown to include other secondary schools and a large number of primary schools, which are all located in the Southwest of England: Bath and North East Somerset, Somerset and North Somerset.
