Earl Mortimer College seeks to expand our team of Examination Invigilators in readiness for public examinations in 2026.

We require authoritative and confident individuals with an eye for detail who are able to invigilate public and internal examinations in college on a flexible basis at intervals throughout the year.

Hours are variable between 8.00 am and 4.00 pm with morning and afternoon exam sessions. The main core public examination period is from May until the end of June, and availability at this time of year is essential.

You will work under the direction of the Examinations Officer and full training will be given.

Earl Mortimer College is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. The successful candidate will be subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service enhanced check and further pre-employment checks will be conducted in accordance with KCSIE. The post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and the School is therefore permitted to ask job applicants to declare all convictions and cautions (including those which are "spent" unless they are "protected" under the DBS filtering rules) in order to assess their suitability to work with children. It is an offence to apply for the role if the applicant is barred from engaging in regulated activity relevant to children.

Links to our school policies and most recent Ofsted report can be found on our website.

Visits to the College prior to submitting an application are welcomed. Please contact the College directly to arrange. Please contact the College for an application form to be returned by Friday 27th February.
