About the Role
We are seeking a compassionate and creative Art tutor to work one-to-one with a neurodivergent learner in Bicester, OX27. This is a unique opportunity to combine tutoring with mentoring, using creative arts and writing to re-engage a young person who has been out of formal education. The learner has a range of needs including ADHD, ASD, Dyslexia, and Hypermobility, and benefits from a warm, adaptive, and respectful approach.
Key Details:
In-person tuition in Bicester, OX27
Days: Mondays & Tuesdays, 2pm–4pm
Duration: Ongoing
Rate: £35 per hour
Hours: 4 per week (with potential for increase)
Subject focus: Art and Creative Writing
SEN/SEMH experience essential
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service required
Must have the right to work in the UK
Background in mentoring or therapeutic education highly desirable
