What We’re Looking For

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Physical Education tutor to work with a student in Little Bookham, Surrey, with the option to deliver sessions either in person or online. The ideal candidate will bring a mix of academic knowledge and practical experience, along with a strong understanding of how to support diverse learners.

This is a self-employed position, paid at £35 per hour.

Key Requirements:

• Experience working with students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
• Strong knowledge of Physical Education theory and practical elements at GCSE level
• Availability on Thursdays from 11:30am–12:30pm, and Fridays for one hour between 9:30am and 1:00pm, or a full two-hour block if preferred
• A background in teaching or coaching PE in a school or private setting
• Ability to build strong rapport with learners and adapt sessions to suit their individual needs
• Confident with online platforms and technology (if delivering remotely)
• Excellent communication skills and a professional, learner-focused approach
• Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
• Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining high standards
