Education Impact Academy Trust is a newly created MAT incorporating Wilson Stuart School, Queensbury School and Mayfield School. The Hive College will also be joining our MAT shortly. Wilson Stuart School is an Ofsted designated outstanding all age (2 – 25 years) Special School which provides very high-quality education for 232 pupils and young people who have physical disabilities, and/or complex medical conditions. Queensbury School provides for 245 students who have MLD (Moderate Learning Difficulties), ASC (Autistic Spectrum Condition), SLD (Severe Learning Difficulties) and SEMH (Social Emotional and Mental Health). Mayfield School educates children and young people, who have a range of learning difficulties, between the ages of 3 and 19 and have approximately 300 students on roll. The Hive College provides a vocational curriculum for learners from 19 to 25 years with high needs such as physical, learning difficulties and sensory impairments. We offer three individualised study programmes for students with PMLD, SLD, MLD and ASD.

The successful candidate will support the Chief Operations Officer in day-to-day operations, improving operating procedures to improve efficiency and implement strategies set by the Board of Trustees and Chief Executive Officer. The successful candidate will monitor that the establishments within the MAT, including academies, colleges and mainstream nurseries all adhere to employment law and deadlines for submission of returns and publication of statutory information. 


• A certified CIPD qualification or equivalent

• Experience in a full range of back office functions including HR, business operations and strategic planning

• Sound knowledge of HR best practice and employment legislation

• Strong working knowledge and application of Microsoft Office and databases for recording HR information

• The ability to perform at the most senior operational level with both internal and external stakeholders, demonstrated across a range of sectors

• Proficiency in the ability to interpret financial data

Plus other associated duties commensurate with the post.
