Experienced, Enthusiastic Emotional Learning Support Assistant (ELSA) Wanted
We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, committed team player to join our small team and contribute towards the shaping of the school; working with the class teacher to provide an engaging environment and rich learning opportunities which enable every child to flourish.
Location: The Cambridge Primary School, Aldershot, GU11 4AA
Contract: Fixed Term Contract (12 months) Full time, including lunchtime support and possible in-class support
Salary: PS3 FTE: £23,576 (£17,425 pro-rata)

We are seeking a full time ELSA (Emotional Learning Support Assistant) to join our dedicated pastoral team at The Cambridge Primary School. Our school opened in 2018 to serve a new community, and you will be part of a forward-thinking, supportive team committed to nurturing every child.
As our new ELSA, you will:
• Deliver targeted emotional and social support to children aged 5-11, including those with SEMH needs
• Provide valuable lunchtime support and in-class assistance, adapting to the needs of our diverse cohort
• Work closely with another part-time ELSA and the wider staff team to plan and deliver effective interventions
• Use your ELSA qualification and experience to make a real impact, with the opportunity to utilise resources like the Zones of Regulation and trauma-informed approaches (desirable but not essential)
• Bring an understanding of our local context and a commitment to inclusion and cultural sensitivity
