Engage Enrich Excel Academies (EEEA) is seeking a qualified and experienced Finance Manager to play a pivotal role in shaping the next stage of our Trust’s growth. This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive, detail-focused professional to lead and develop our finance operations within a values-driven and ambitious organisation.
Working closely with the Chief Executive Officer, Chief Finance and Operations Officer (CFOO), Chair of Audit & Risk Committee, and Trust Board, you will oversee all aspects of Trust finance, from budget preparation and strategic planning to day-to-day operational spend and compliance.
You will bring professional expertise in long-term financial management, ensuring the Trust fully meets the requirements of the Department for Education (DfE) and UK SORP standards.
As a key member of the central team, you will work collaboratively with the CFOO and Headteachers across our eight primary schools, ensuring robust financial procedures, effective budget monitoring, and full statutory compliance.
Location: EEEA Central Trust Office (with travel across 8 schools)
Contract: Term time plus 5 weeks
Salary: PS11.1 £53713.00 -PS11.5 £58953.00. Pro rata £52133.00- £57219.00.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead and manage the Trust’s financial operations, ensuring the provision of high-quality financial management and reporting.
• Deliver consolidated financial reports to the Trust Board to enable informed strategic decisions.
• Promote best practice and ensure compliance with the Academies Trust Handbook and Trust-wide financial policies.
• Oversee all areas of finance including:
- Financial compliance and statements
- Management accounts and cash flow
- Financial budgeting and reporting
- Audit coordination
- Financial systems and processes
- Due diligence for schools joining the Trust
• Manage and support school-based finance staff and any newly appointed central finance personnel.
• Advise and support Local Advisory Committees (LACs), preparing and presenting reports on the Trust’s financial position.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement, providing training and sharing best practice across all EEEA schools.
