School Business Manager
Hours of duty: 32 hours per week (Mon to Fri Time TBC) for 41 weeks a year
Scale: SP9 £ 41,585- £ 45,135 FTE SP9 (£33,431 - £36,285) Pro rata (dependent on qualification and experience)

We are now looking to recruit an experienced, enthusiastic, hardworking and highly motivated School Business Manager (SBM) who will work at part of the Senior Leadership team to follow in the footsteps of our long-standing and highly valued SBM.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Headteacher, Assistant Headteachers and Governors as a key member of the Senior Leadership Team, supporting the smooth and efficient running of the school. As well as closely working alongside our experienced office team and Premises Manager.
We are looking for someone who:
- Can lead and manage with the aim of adding value across each aspect of the role including finance, compliance, HR, premises, safer recruitment, IT infrastructure (including cyber security), GDPR and Health & Safety
- Has a dedicated and professional outlook, enthusiasm for working in a small, busy school, and the ability to apply knowledge flexibly and effectively
- Brings a strong financial and HR background and a proven track record of leadership
- Has extensive experience of managing a school budget and capital projects, and can confidently lead on budget planning and financial management
- Combines solid business acumen with an understanding of financial and operational management in a school or similar organisation (A qualification such as CSBM or equivalent is desirable)
- Communicates clearly and builds effective, supportive relationships across the entire staff team
- Has the ability to lead and quality-assure facilities management, premises and catering
- Is organised, able to multi-task, communicates efficiently and meets deadlines consistently
- Wants to make a difference to our children and families, and go above and beyond
- Will have a visible presence within our school community
