School Office Manager

32.5 hours per week (Mon-Fri 09:00 – 16:00 daily with 30 min unpaid break), term time + inset days + 2-weeks (41 weeks per year)

Surrey Pay depending on experience

Byfleet Primary School is a one-form entry school, , nestled between Byfleet Village and West Byfleet. We are in close proximity to the A3 and M25 (junction 10/11) and benefit from being part of the Engage, Enrich, Excel Multi Academy Trust (EEEA trust).

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, hardworking, flexible conscientious and ambitious School Office Manager who has a passion for working in a small school, to join and lead our friendly and supportive Administration Team. This staff member will be providing operational deliverance on all matters relating to Finance, HR , Admission, Lettings and Premises

We are looking for someone who:

● has excellent operational managent skills, is outward-looking, pro-active and solution focused

● combines solid business skills with an understanding of operational management and finance in a school or similar organisation

● manage with the aim of adding value across every function, from HR and facilities to procurement and income generation and Health & Safety

● to effectively line-manage all aspect of the premise’s manager role

● has the ability to manage and quality assure the delivery of facilities management, premises and catering

● has the ability to see the big picture while retaining an eye for detail

● is organised, can multi-task, can communicate efficiently and in a timely manner, and can meet deadlines
