We are looking for an innovative and energetic teacher to join our dedicated staff at Ysgol Eirias to teach Humanities. The post is to commence in November for a full time temporary post as maternity cover.
Successful candidates will be well qualified Humanities specialists with a passion for a range of Humanities subject areas as well as an enthusiasm for working with inquisitive young minds. The school has been embracing the Curriculum for Wales for a number of years and covers all AoLEs, including Humanities through the Year 7 to 9 Curriculum. The Faculty teaches Curriculum for Wales in Years 7 to 9: this is followed by GCSE RS, Agored, History, Geography and Travel. They also offer A Level RS, History, Geography, Sociology and Psychology.
The successful candidate will be required to teach Humanities in Years 7 - 9 with the possibility of teaching GCSE.
