Contract: Full-time Temporary Post

We are looking for an innovative and energetic teacher to join our dedicated staff at Ysgol Eirias to teach English and Expressive Arts. The post is to commence September 2025 for a full time temporary post with potential for a permanent post in the future.

Successful candidates will be well qualified English specialists with a passion for their subject areas and an enthusiasm for working with inquisitive young minds. The school has been embracing the Curriculum for Wales for a number of years and covers all AoLEs, including Languages, Literacy and Communication and Expressive Arts, through the Year 7 to 9 Curriculum. The English Faculty teaches Curriculum for Wales in Expressive Arts and LLC in Years 7 to 9: this is followed by GCSE Language and Literature, Drama and Music.  They also offer A Level Language, Literature and Music.

The successful candidate will be required to teach English and Expressive Arts - an ability to teach Music at any level would also be desirable but not essential.
