Ysgol EIrias is looking for a dynamic and empathetic Teaching Assistant to join the ALN and Support Team. The role includes:
JOB PURPOSE:
- To support teachers and learners to ensure that they gain the most benefit from each lesson;
- To work under the guidance of the ALNCo and within an agreed system of supervision;
- To help learners change their approach so that they get the most out of school, with particular reference to learners who have an IDP;
- To support the teaching staff in maintaining good pupil behaviour during the lunch break.
The post is part time and initially for 1 year with potential for a permanent post
Payscale:
GO2 Pts 4-5: £25,185 to £25,583 per annum (full-time equivalent)
Actual Pay: £8,276 to £8,407 per annum
Hours: Thursday - 8.30 - 4.30 / Friday 8.30 - 4.00
