Ysgol EIrias is looking for a dynamic and empathetic Teaching Assistant to join the ALN and Support Team from September 2025.  The role includes:

JOB PURPOSE:

  • To support teachers and learners to ensure that they gain the most benefit from each lesson;
  • To work under the guidance of the ALNCo and within an agreed system of supervision;
  • To help learners change their approach so that they get the most out of school, with particular reference to learners who have an IDP;
  • To support the teaching staff in maintaining good pupil behaviour during the lunch break. 

The post is initially for 1 year with potential for a permanent post

Payscale:

GO2 Pts 4-5 £24,404 to £24,790 (equated x 83.85% to £16,591 to £16,854 - Part time 30 hrs per week and term time only)
