Join Our Governing Body – Make a Difference in SEND Education

Are you passionate about education and making a real impact in the lives of young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND)? Do you have professional experience in Finance, Human Resources, or Information Technology?

We are a thriving SEND special school for students aged 4 to 19, with 439 pupils across two sites, and we are looking for committed and skilled governors to join our Governing Body.

What We’re Looking For

We are seeking individuals with expertise in:

• Finance – to help oversee budgets and ensure financial sustainability.
• Human Resources – to support staff development and strategic workforce planning.
• Information Technology – to guide digital strategy and infrastructure.

Your Commitment

As a governor, you will:

• Attend four Full Governing Body meetings per year
• Participate in committee meetings relevant to your expertise
• Engage in school visits to understand our work first-hand
• Contribute to the strategic governance of our college
