About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Key Stage 1 or 2 Class Teacher to join our friendly and supportive primary school team. You will play a vital role in delivering high‑quality teaching and learning, ensuring every child is inspired, challenged and supported to achieve their best. You will:
• Plan and deliver engaging, creative and well‑structured lessons that meet the needs of all learners
• Create a positive, inclusive and nurturing classroom environment where children feel safe, valued and motivated
• Use assessment effectively to monitor progress, identify next steps and adapt teaching accordingly
• Work closely with colleagues to contribute to year‑group and whole‑school planning
• Build strong relationships with pupils, families and staff to support children’s academic and personal development
• Promote excellent behaviour, high expectations and a love of learning
• Contribute to the wider life of the school, including enrichment activities and school events
We are seeking someone who:
• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Has experience teaching in Key Stage 1 and/or Key Stage 2
• Is an excellent classroom practitioner with a passion for primary education
• Understands how to support a wide range of learning needs within a mainstream classroom
• Can inspire, motivate and engage children through creative and purposeful teaching
• Works effectively as part of a team and contributes positively to school life
• Builds strong, supportive relationships with pupils and families
• Demonstrates professionalism, resilience and a commitment to safeguarding
