Position:            Midday Supervisor

Required from: 27th October 2025

Contract Type: Permanent, 5 hours per week (12:15-13:15), term time only (38 weeks per year).

Salary: Grade 4, £24,804 to £24,999 (Actual £2,800.79 to £2,822.81)

Huncote Primary school is a busy and friendly school with a supportive staff team. We are seeking an enthusiastic Midday Supervisor to become part of our committed team. The postholder will assist with all aspects of school lunchtime, including setting up or clearing away the hall, supporting children while they are eating their lunch, maintaining high standards of manners and politeness during lunchtimes, leading and organising activities for children through our Happy Lunchtimes offer and supervising the children at play.

We are looking for someone who:

• Enjoys working with children.

• Is polite and able to develop positive relationships with all.

• Is able to speak to children sensitively.

• Is able to work as part of a team – listening to others, sharing ideas, being helpful to one another.

• Is sensible and able to use their initiative.

The postholder will be required to lead and supervise activities with children on the playground. They will also need to be mindful of the specific needs of children on our SEND register or those with medical needs and allergies. Full training will be given.
