St Peter’s CofE Primary School, part of Embrace Multi Academy Trust, is seeking to appoint an inspiring and committed SEND Chaplain to develop and lead this unique and exciting role at the heart of our school community, for a three year fixed term period.
This is a rare opportunity to shape a pioneering provision, supporting children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), their families and staff through pastoral, emotional and spiritual care, rooted in our Christian vision of “Inspiring Learning for Life”.
St Peter’s is a warm, inclusive and ambitious Church of England primary school in the heart of Market Bosworth. We are proud of our nurturing ethos, where all members of our school family are “valued and valuable in the eyes of God” and supported to achieve their full potential. Our pupils are kind, respectful and eager to learn, and our staff are dedicated, collaborative and committed to continuous improvement. As part of Embrace Multi Academy Trust, we benefit from strong support, shared expertise and a clear moral purpose: ensuring every child flourishes and experiences "life in all its fullness".

- Support staff wellbeing and understanding, particularly those working with children with SEND.
- Develop community networks to support families, including links with church and local services.
- Contribute to collective worship and the Christian life of the school, including inclusive opportunities for pupils with SEND.
- Champion the Trust’s vision, helping every child and family to flourish.
About You:
We are looking for someone who:
- Is a practising Christian (Genuine Occupational Requirement) with a strong sense of vocation.
- Has experience of working with children with SEND and their families.
- Demonstrates compassion, emotional intelligence and excellent interpersonal skills.
- Can confidently navigate SEND systems and support families through them.
- Is able to work collaboratively across school, Trust and church communities.
- Is committed to ensuring that every child and family feels valued, supported and included.
In return we offer:
- A unique opportunity to shape an innovative chaplaincy role in a thriving school.
- A welcoming and supportive team, committed to professional growth.
- Access to high-quality professional development and Trust-wide collaboration.
- A comprehensive employee benefits package, including wellbeing support and discount schemes.
- The opportunity to make a lasting impact on children, families and the wider community.
