Salary: Grade 4 – FTE 25,629 - £25,824 (Actual salary £6,926 - £6979) 

Contract: Permanent 

Hours: 10 hours per week over the weekend, plus casual hours during weekends/some weekdays

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Weekend Lettings Assistant to join our collaborative team, starting as soon as possible, and contribute to our vision of “learning to live life to the full”.  This role will involve facilitating events, bookings and activities in various areas of the school, ensuring a high quality of service for all users.

What Success Looks Like:

  • Open, secure and monitor the school site and sports facilities during lettings and community use
  • Support the smooth running of 3G pitch bookings and other facility hire arrangements
  • Set up and store sports equipment as required for bookings and events
  • Ensure all users, hirers and spectators follow site rules and maintain appropriate standards of behaviour
  • Monitor usage of facilities and maintain accurate records of attendance
  • Carry out basic site maintenance duties, including litter picking and keeping facilities clean, safe and presentable
  • Assist with assessing the suitability of pitches during adverse weather conditions
  • Provide first aid support and ensure incidents are appropriately recorded
  • Report security, maintenance and operational issues to the Site Manager
  • Support the implementation of health and safety, safeguarding and fire safety procedures across the site
  • Deliver a high standard of customer service to all visitors, hirers and community users
  • Undertake additional duties to support the effective operation of the premises and lettings service
  • Contribute positively to the wider life of the school 
  • Support our culture of inclusion, respect and belonging
