Start Date: 03/11/2025

Salary: Grade 8, £31,586 - £34,314 FTE (Actual Salary: £22,028.28 – £23,930.81 based on weeks worked and hours )

Contract: Fixed Term until 31/08/2026 subject to a review of the school's budget

Hours: 30 per week (9.15am – 4.15pm Monday – Friday with a 30 minute unpaid lunchbreak, term time only to include INSET days (39 weeks)

The Role

The successful candidate will:

Be passionate about making a difference to all children.

Have a strong sporting background and the ability to act as a role model.

Have experience supporting children’s learning/physical development, ideally within a school environment.

Hold the highest aspiration for all children, believing that it is always possible to ‘find a way to succeed’.

Be flexible and able to adapt their practice to support effective learning.

Demonstrate strong pupil management skills, ensuring that learning continues in a calm, structured environment.

Be a reflective practitioner with a strong desire to learn and continually improve.

Hold a relevant qualifications (or equivalent) as described in the person specification.

 Fluency Duty 

This post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) and therefore the ability to converse at ease with pupils, parents and other users and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential for the post.
