Student Wellbeing Co-ordinator  

37.5 hours per week, 37.6 weeks per year (term time only) 

Monday to Friday – 8.00 am to 4.00 pm  

PS7 (£29,291 to £31,810 FTE). Pro-rata starting salary £25,525 

We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic Student Wellbeing Co-ordinator to support and work with students to improve behaviour for learning, engagement with school and attendance. You will be required to promptly investigate raised issues of concern and work closely with SLT, Heads of Year and teaching staff to allow students every opportunity to learn and also to reflect on their behaviour and attitude to learning. You will also be required to undertake the role of Deputy DSL liaising with the DSL in managing safeguarding in school and be a point of contact/intervention for students, parents and external agencies.  

We are seeking to appoint someone with a calm but resilient manner, approachable and warm but able to maintain authority at all times. You will have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to deal sensitively with students. Previous experience of working with young people with challenging behaviour will be an advantage.
