Start date: September 2022

Are you an Early Career Teacher looking for your first teaching post? Or an experienced teacher looking for a new role?

We are looking for an inspirational Teacher of Maths to join a successful and supportive team. The Maths department is an inventive and progressive team who are all passionate about seeing young people succeed in their subject. Key stage 4 results have improved significantly over the past 5 years, with results consistently above national average for progress and attainment. This is due to the hard work and determination of staff and students alike in this area.  We will consider applications from candidates who wish to work either 60% or 80% over 3 or 4 days. This can be discussed further at interview.

As a team who are always on the forefront of innovation in the classroom, we are looking for an individual who can add to this already thriving team; a teacher who builds excellent relationships with students and inspires them in their learning.  We offer an exceptional development program, with support which goes beyond the ECT years and we welcome applications from candidates with all levels of experience.

Esher Church of England High School is an excellent, high performing School and is proud to be part of Enlighten Learning Trust (ELT). We aim to equip our students with the skills to grow into confident, ambitious and responsible citizens ready to face the challenges of the adult world. Our staff are passionate about seeing young people succeed in their subject.

A full ECT programme is available and a comprehensive induction programme is provided for all new staff. We are committed to continual bespoke professional development opportunities e.g. access to peer coaching, termly teaching and learning group meetings and personalised training.

Staff benefits include a 2 week autumn half term break, Teachers’ pension scheme, staff wellbeing group, staff association, free gym use and ample on-site parking. For further information regarding this role please refer to the Recruitment Pack.

We welcome early applications and will consider holding interviews before the closing date for strong candidates.
