Key Responsibilities:
- Prospect, qualify and generate leads through cold calling, networking, and referrals to build a robust pipeline of advertising clients.
- Conduct thorough needs assessments and present tailored advertising solutions to meet the unique goals and objectives of prospective clients.
- Negotiate terms, pricing, and contracts to secure advertising sales and sponsorship agreements, ensuring alignment with revenue targets and company objectives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, advertising agencies, and industry partners to foster long-term partnerships and repeat business.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing and creative departments, to develop compelling advertising proposals and campaigns that resonate with target audiences.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to identify new business opportunities and maximize sales potential.
- Track sales activities, maintain accurate records, and provide regular reports on sales performance and revenue forecasts to management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field is a bonus.
- Proven track record of success in advertising B2B sales, preferably within the education or media industry.
- Strong sales acumen with a demonstrated ability to meet and exceed revenue targets in a fast-paced, competitive environment.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to articulate value propositions and influence decision-makers.
- Strategic thinker with a customer-centric approach and a solutions-oriented mindset.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office suite (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Knowledge of digital advertising platforms, online marketing trends, and advertising technologies is a plus.
