Eteach is seeking a proactive and results-oriented Business Development Consultant to drive growth and expand our presence in the education sector. As a key member of our business development team, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, cultivating strategic partnerships, and delivering tailored software solutions to educational institutions. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities within the education sector, coupled with a proven track record of driving sales and exceeding targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and target potential clients through research, networking, and prospecting activities.
  • Convert new business opportunities by utilising both inbound and outbound sales techniques, selling professional services to the education sector.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers within target organizations.
  • Understand client needs and requirements, and propose tailored software solutions to address their challenges.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitive landscape, and market opportunities to inform sales strategies.


  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field is a bonus.
  • Proven track record of at least 2 years in software sales, business development, Advertising sales or telesales preferably in a B2B environment.
  • Ensuring all key details - decision makers, incumbent suppliers and contractual periods - are updated on all leads where possible.
  • Strong understanding of software products and services, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish credibility with clients.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
  • Highly motivated and target-driven, with a passion for exceeding sales goals.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office suite.
