Are you looking for a flexible role where you can make a difference in the classroom - without any teaching qualifications? If so, we want to hear from you!

We are seeking enthusiastic, self-motivated professionals to join our student support teams as a Cover Supervisor, to play a vital role in our client schools. Covering for short periods of absence is a rewarding job and one that provides valuable experiences in the classroom if you are looking for a stepping stone in order to get into teaching.

You will need confidence, with the ability to inspire and enthuse students, so that they maintain their learning in the absence of their regular teacher. You will need good interpersonal and organisational skills to lead planned lessons, with the ability to relate to the young people in schools.

You’ll use excellent classroom management skills, keeping things running smoothly, and helping students to achieve their lesson objectives whilst giving appropriate support where needed. You’ll be provided with all of the content you need to help students succeed in their lessons.

What will you need?

• Experience of working with learners in an educational or service setting

• A minimum of 3 GCSEs at grade C or above, including Maths and English

• Great communication skills with the ability to manage behaviour and concentration.

• Ability to plan your own workload, deliver set content effectively, and identifying opportunities for further support if needed.

Make a real difference to students’ progression, using your initiative and skills in a key classroom role – plus, level up your career with access to wider professional development opportunities.
