Deputy Head Teacher

CoverStaff are currently recruiting for an exciting Deputy Headteacher position based at a Secondary school within Herefordshire, commencing in January 2026. The School are offering an excellent pathway for their successful candidate to work towards the next step of an executive role.

The school are seeking a dynamic and ambitious individual with a proven track record of raising attainment and achievement to join their supportive and determined team. The successful candidate will have the vision and ambition to make a real impact on this school’s story of improvement and build on its growing success.

Located just south of the cathedral city of Hereford, the school benefits from an extensive site and superb facilities having joined with a neighbouring primary school to form a Multi-Academy Trust in 2012. Both schools are rated Good by Ofsted and have improved since then, come and help them improve even further!

Position Highlights:

• Start Date: January 2026 (or sooner if available)

• Location: Herefordshire

• Salary: £350 - £390 per day depending on experience
