Design & Technology Teacher (Resistant Materials) - Permanent Role

- Contract: Permanent | 4 or 5 days per week
- Key Stages: Up to KS4
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Design & Technology Teacher, with a specialism in Resistant Materials, to join our welcoming and forward-thinking secondary school in Woking. This is a permanent position, and we’re open to applications from candidates who can start as soon as possible or from September 2025.
About the Role:
- Teach Resistant Materials across Key Stages 3 and 4
- Inspire and support students to develop creativity, technical knowledge, and hands-on practical skills
- Collaborate with a dynamic DT department and contribute to curriculum planning and enrichment
- Open to teaching 4 or 5 days per week - we’re flexible to suit the right candidate
What We’re Looking For:
- A qualified teacher with experience in Design & Technology, ideally specialising in Resistant Materials
- Strong classroom management and a passion for delivering engaging, practical lessons
- A commitment to high standards and student progress
- Ability to foster a positive learning environment and work well as part of a team
