Eteach are working with a lovely school based in Wokingham looking for a fantastic mathematics genuine to work in this SEN school.

Job Advertisement: SEN Maths Teacher

Salary: As per teachers’ pay and conditions

Responsibilities:

1. General:

Undertake duties as directed by the Head of Campus.

Participate in performance appraisal within the national framework.

Maintain health, safety, and discipline adhering to school policies.

Adhere to all school policies and guidelines.

Engage in school and self-evaluation processes.

Maintain a high standard classroom environment conducive to learning.

2. Teaching:

Conduct class teaching, preparation, assessment, and reporting.

Utilize diverse teaching and learning strategies.

Lead or contribute to subject policy documents and schemes of work.

Deliver National Curriculum within prescribed Key Stages and programs of study.

Modify and individualize schemes of work as needed.

Review teaching methods and programs regularly.

Promote literacy, numeracy, ICT, careers, and Key Skills.

Foster spiritual, moral, social, and cultural development, instilling British Values.

Engage in professional development activities.

3. Pastoral Care:

Advocate for a designated group of students.

Take responsibility for the academic, social, and personal progress of each student.

Provide support and intervention as necessary.

Liaise with colleagues, parents, and support services.

Contribute to recording, reporting, and assessment.
