SEN Primary School Teacher
Responsibilities:
1. General:
Undertake duties as directed by the Head of Campus.
Participate in performance appraisal within a national framework.
Maintain health and safety standards for self, colleagues, and students.
Adhere to school policies and guidelines.
Engage in school and self-evaluation processes.
Maintain a high standard of classroom management and student support.
2. Teaching:
Deliver class teaching, including preparation, assessment, and reporting.
Employ a variety of teaching and learning strategies.
Contribute to planning and delivery of subject policies and schemes of work.
Deliver National Curriculum content within prescribed Key Stages and programmes of study.
Modify and individualize schemes of work as needed.
Regularly review teaching methods and programs.
Support literacy, numeracy, ICT, careers, and Key Skills.
Promote spiritual, moral, social, and cultural development and British Values.
Engage in continuous professional development.
3. Pastoral Care:
Advocate for a designated group of students.
Monitor and support individual student progress.
Provide academic, social, and personal support to students.
Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and support services.
Contribute to recording, reporting, and assessment processes.
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Experience working with SEN students preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team.
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting student welfare.
