Eteach is proud to be associated with an independent school as they seek their FOUNDING Head OF SCHOOL (HOS). This is the latest school in a small but expanding group established to provide high-quality educational services to local and expatriate communities in Russia. Initially, the school will offer contemporary British international education to students from EYFS to Year Nine; growing organically from its inception to post-16 education.
Reporting to the Group CEO, the Head of School has the overall responsibility for managing the school and implementing the vision, mission and values of the group. This person is ultimately accountable for the learning outcomes of all students and the quality of teaching and learning in the school. The HOS is accountable to the Group and to the community of parents and others that the school serves. This person is accountable to their staff and students for the quality and style of leadership that they provide and how it shapes and directs the school community. This also includes the outcomes of the school’s collective work. Together with Head of Operations, the HOS is accountable for delivering business performance objectives.
The Cambridge Leadership Standards provide a common language and a framework of expectations that will help the school community reflect on how effective its leadership is. In addition to the Group's Leader Standards, the HOS must also uphold public trust in the profession and maintain high standards of ethics and behaviour, within and outside the school, by:
•Treating students with dignity, building relationships rooted in mutual respect, and at all times observing proper boundaries appropriate to an educator’s professional position
•Having regards for the need to safeguard students’ well-being, in accordance with statutory/regulatory provisions
•Showing tolerance of and respect for the rights of other
•Not undermining the fundamental values and culture of the company and Heritage Education Group, ensuring that due diligence and respect is given to the associated precedence on the country
•Ensuring personal beliefs are not expressed in way which exploit students’ vulnerability or might lead them to break the law.
•Having proper and professional regard for the ethos, policies and practices of the school and maintain high standards in their own attendance and punctuality
•Having an understanding of, and always act within, the policies set by Heritage Education Group which set out their professional duties and responsibilities

Education: Teaching certification, Advanced degree, Educational Leadership/Management Qualification
Experience: At least 5 years’ in School Management/leadership roles in K12 international schools.
Competencies: knowledge of international accreditation, self-evaluation and improvement planning frameworks, excellent communication skills in spoken and written form, financial acumen, experience of marketing and admissions, educational leader and outstanding teacher, management of human and physical resources, strategic planning, knowledge of child protection and health and safety, experience in developing and leading high performing teams, highly effective relationship management with a variety of stakeholders
