Eton Dorney School offers a broad and balanced education following the National Curriculum at all key stages along with rural skills and outdoor education. Our curriculum has intent, implementation & impactful and our progress is reflective of this. Students are provided with the opportunity to access GCSE’s and other vocational qualifications at KS4. All of our students have an individualised education plan which are pupil centred to include both parent and carer voice. They are well planned and consider the full pupil and their progressive journey.

Eton Dorney School is a member of NaSS and Living Autism as well as local partnership groups. Its aim is to work in cooperation to improve the quality of learning opportunities available to young people and teachers across the local area. Staff at Eton Dorney maintain a high profile within the Network through outreach and provision of school-based training opportunities. One local authority has also commissioned Eton Dorney to provide an outreach service support of pupils with autism.

Students are taught in small groups, usually with more than one member of staff in attendance. There is a happy and positive atmosphere in which children can fulfil their potential and grow in self-confidence with respect for the people and environment around them.

The school has an excellent reputation amongst parents and the local community. The quality of education on offer in a caring environment provides a positive choice for parents and young people. Eton Dorney is committed to a strong partnership between home and school reflected in our home –school agreement policy, in order that pupils achieve high standards in all areas of the curriculum.
