When any visitor walks around school they comment on happy children engaged in their learning in a calm, fun environment. We are extremely fortunate to have a well-equipped building and fantastic outside space. We take great pride in the fact that we have a happy and inclusive school in which the children’s voice is clearly heard in an atmosphere that encourages respect for all and respect for the environment.

Parents are welcomed as partners in their child’s education as we believe that our children learn best when members of staff and parents work in partnership and so we value your involvement with your child’s education.

A wide range of curriculum enrichment activities are also provided to enhance children’s learning.  We have a supportive and hard working group of governors who are highly skilled in different areas.  Governors and staff work together to provide our children with the very best learning opportunities.  We encourage our pupils to be responsible for their learning, to grow in confidence and become independent.

We are proud to announce that we will be a part of The Blue Kite Academy Trust in November of 2024.

The Blue Kite Academy Trust is committed to supporting all our schools in delivering an outstanding education for children and young people and ensure pupils have access to the highest standards of teaching, resources and opportunities. Our role is to oversee the leadership and vision of our member schools and develop partnerships between them. We will encourage staff from our schools to meet together and share best practice, while our students will benefit from access to joint opportunities such as shared learning, trips and events.
