We are looking to recruit an Administrative Assistant to join the school administrative team.
The successful person will undertake a variety of duties in a lively and busy school environment. The successful candidate will be:
- a team player who is flexible and willing to turn their hand to whatever needs doing, adapting and responding to the quickly changing demands of school life.
- able to maintain a professional appearance and manner in the performance of their duties as well as having a friendly and welcoming demeanour.
- excellent ICT skills and be adept at using the Microsoft Office suite.
- high levels of written and oral communication skills, good attention to details, and be a quick learner.
- the ability to get on with a wide variety of people, prioritise tasks, plan ahead and maintain confidentiality is essential in this post.
Training will be provided on the School MIS (SIMs), Parentmail, Parentpay and Operoo systems.
Duties are varied but may include:
- Administration of the school meals service
- Covering the main school reception desk
- Administration of school trips
- Administration of after school clubs
- Maintaining computer systems in compliance with GDPR
- Preparation of newsletters, routine letters and other information as required
- Any other ad hoc administrative tasks required to support the smooth running of a busy school
Terms and Conditions
Hours will be from 9am - 3.30pm with a 30 minute break (Total 30 hours per week)
Term time only 38 working weeks (43.7 paid weeks) + 2 compulsory training days.
