Sandcross Primary School is looking for an enthusiastic Support Teacher to play a key role in supporting high-quality teaching and learning across the school. This role is ideal for someone with experience and ambition, who wants to continue developing their skills in a nurturing and inclusive environment.

The Support Teacher will regularly lead classes independently, deliver planned lessons and targeted interventions, and work collaboratively with teachers to raise attainment and progress for all pupils. You will contribute to the wider curriculum and pastoral care, while upholding the school’s values of Kindness, Respect, Responsibility and Resilience.

Key Responsibilities:

Independently delivering planned lessons and covering classes

Leading and supporting children’s learning, including interventions

Supporting teaching staff with planning and classroom delivery

Preparing resources to aid learning

Supporting the wider curriculum and pastoral care

Undertaking playground duties and ensuring pupil well-being

What we are looking for:

NVQ Level 3 (or above) in education-related field

GCSE grade C (or equivalent) in English and Maths

Strong literacy and numeracy skills

Confidence, maturity, and common sense

Hours - Part time: 19.5 per week

Closing Date - 2nd June 2025, 8am
