Pre School Administration Assistant - 6.5 hours per week flexible to suit both candidate and school, Term Time only (38 weeks per year) on Fixed Term Contract ending 31st August 2024 wit the possibility of being extended.
About this Role
Burbage Primary School is looking for a self motivated, efficient member to join their friendly team as a Pre-School Administration Assistant, where Inspiring and Nurturing children is their number one priority.
You would work as part of the pre-school team and provide full administration support. Reporting to the Principal, Pre-School Manager and School Business Manager, being a team player is an absolute must.
Are you able to
- Maintain invoicing and payment records from parents
- Ensure funding is applied for and received in a timely manner by liaising with 3rd parties
- Manage stock and supplies
- Efficiently carry out a variety of administration tasks including photocopying/filing
- Maintain registers to accurately report attendance
- Maintain Spreadsheets
- Produce reports for the Principal and Finance Officer
- Follow preschool policies inclusive of those relating to Safeguarding of the schools pupil
You must have
- Knowledge of Office 365 inclusive of Word, Excel and Outlook
- Have an eye for detail and take pride in producing accurate information
- Strong organisational skills
- Communication Skills both verbal and written
- Self motivation
- A positive approach to continuous professional development
- Positive values, attitudes and behaviour
- The ability to work as part of a small team
