No experience is necessary and full training will be provided, but the following are essential:-

· Good organisational skills

· Reliability

· Punctuality

· Flexibility

· Maintaining confidentiality

· Ability to understand and apply detailed written/verbal instructions, while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail

· Ability to communicate and connect with young people

· Ability to read and write exams for some of our students.

About this role:

Invigilators are required for exam periods throughout the year, Mock exams (Nov, Dec, Jan, March) BTECs (Jan, April, May) and specifically during the busy Summer GCSE & A Levels (May & June) sessions and would suit applicants interested in picking up part time hours, on an ad hoc basis. Hours are variable and allocated as required and paid at a rate of £12.85 per hour plus holiday pay.

Work usually starts at 8.00am for morning exams and 1:00pm for afternoon exams. Duties include: -

· The secure distribution and collection of exam materials

· Providing, keeping a record of and supervising an appropriate environment for students to take their examination

· Ensuring that all exam board regulations are enforced during the examinations

· Managing time keeping of exams and once sessions are completed, ensuring all learners leave and prepare the set up for the next session
