Due to growing demand for Apprenticeships (including Higher Level) and Full cost opportunities, we currently have an opening for a Caseloaded Assessor to join part of our highly successful Construction team in assessing students in the workplace.
Working from our purpose-built Construction Centre at Aldershot, the post is to deliver high quality training and assessment in a way that supports effective learning and high levels of retention and achievement. Supporting, Assessing and reviewing students both in College and visiting them at their employers in the workplace so some travel will be required. As well as Assessing traditional NVQ’s/Diploma’s, the Coach/Mentor will support and guide the apprentices to produce their portfolio for their end-point assessment for the apprenticeship standards without the traditional qualification.
Applicants will need to be qualified to at least a level 3 in Carpentry and have appropriate vocational experience. Experience of assessing Construction Management L4 would be a distinct advantage. Ideally hold an A1 and V1 (or equivalent) although we will train the right candidate to achieve their Assessor qualification if they have the right industry experience.
