Lecturer in Teacher Education

We have an exciting new role available within our teacher education department to teach on our Higher Education Level 4 and 5 Foundation Degree in Learning Support programmes.

This will be as a sessional lecturer working one (or two) evenings per week on a Tuesday/Thursday evening from 5pm-9pm.

The role will include delivering sessions to our Level 4/5 groups of Learning Support Assistants. In addition to the teaching, the suitable candidate will be conducting lesson observations during the day in schools within the area.

The suitable candidate should have a Masters level qualification with extensive school experience as a teacher/leader (preferably in a Primary or SEND setting) and experience of supporting LSAs and newly qualified teachers.
