Competitive salary and excellent benefits

Full-time or Part-time with flexible working across the academic year

This is an exciting new opportunity to join our Teacher Education and Initial Teacher training team. Starting in September, candidates will be experienced and knowledgeable in Primary and/or Secondary Education. We seek those who have had experience in teaching and assessing at Levels 4, 5 and 6 (although training will be provided to the right candidate if not) as well as previous experience of mentoring trainee teachers, and who might have run Initial Teacher Training programmes in their own schools.

Delivery will be to our Foundation Degree and Top Up degree for Learning Support Assistants as well as our Primary and/or Secondary PGCE programmes.

Please note that some of the teaching is delivered in the evening with observations being conducted during the school day.

These exciting roles would suit dynamic, experienced, and innovative Primary/Secondary school teachers. Ideally, potential candidates will be seeking either a full-time position or a part-time role possibly downsizing their existing teaching role with flexible working hours across the academic year.

Specialisms in any of the following areas would also be beneficial but not essential: English as an Additional Language, Comparative Education, Child Behaviour.
