If you are proud to be in your profession and are interested in sharing your wealth of experience and knowledge to bring on the next generation of construction workers, then you may well be interested in joining our Construction team based in Aldershot. Due to its continued success we have a number of lecturing opportunities for qualified professionals to teach Levels 2-3 within our Construction Department from September 2025.

Previous teaching experience although desirable, is not essential. Passing on your knowledge and experience to future talent can be hugely rewarding and gives you the opportunity to shape the future of your industry’s workforce. Teacher training towards a recognised qualification can be provided while you work.

Candidates should hold a relevant Level 3 qualification, and ideally recent industry experience. In addition, you need to be an enthusiastic and motivated individual who can engage with FE students to ensure that they reach their full potential.

We have lecturing opportunities in the following areas:

          Brickwork

          Plumbing/Gas

          Carpentry

          Electrical Installation

This is a superb opportunity for a first-class applicant to teach in an Outstanding College. In turn we can offer you interesting and varied work with an excellent benefits package.

Benefits include: Teachers Pension, 40 days holiday, Employee Assistance Programme including Savings Centre offering retail discounts, Canteen and free on-site parking.

Farnborough College of Technology is an Equal Opportunities Employer.

Interviews will take place shortly after the published closing date or when a suitable number of appropriate applications have been received, so early submissions are encouraged. Suitable candidates may be interviewed before the closing date and we reserve the right to withdraw the position if an early appointment is made.

Please note we are not accepting speculative applications from agencies.
