POST: Peripatetic Singing Teacher

We wish to appoint a talented musician with a commitment to inspire and enthuse students through peripatetic tuition and enrichment activities. Featherstone High School is an 11-19 multi-cultural school with a large and vibrant music department. The successful applicant will teach singing to students at the school from beginner to more advanced standard.
Candidates must be able to motivate students and ensure good progression. Ability to help individual students prepare for performances such as GCSE is essential. Experience of directing choirs is desirable. Candidates should be familiar with and be able to help students prepare for the formal musical grades such as ABRSM, Trinity or Rockschool.
