Our mission is simple: to provide the best quality of education in a secure learning environment.
iExel Education Trust is dedicated to improving the life chances of all learners.
To provide the best quality of education for all our learners within a secure learning environment.
We will do this by:
Just as every learner is unique we believe every school is also unique. Our school improvement model will be tailored to individual needs.
The Trust will offer:
Just as every learner is unique we believe every school is also unique. Our school improvement model will be tailored to individual needs.
Northern Lights Teaching School Alliance
Feversham College is a designated Teaching School, along with Skipton Girls High School. We have committed to a joint venture company with both our Teaching Schools creating the Northern Lights Teaching School Alliance (NLTSA) which serves a wide and adverse alliance of schools. The core offer of NLTSA includes the offer of training and support for the alliance and identifying and co-ordinating expertise to support the following:
Feversham Education Trust (FET) is relentless in its drive to provide outstanding education in a secure learning environment for all learners.
We are a not-for-profit organisation with the aim of providing quality support and challenge to ensure outstanding outcomes for all learners in our schools.
We are fully committed to ensuring that all learners in all our schools regardless of their background or starting points achieve their true potential.
Our school improvement model is bespoke, recognising that just as every single learner is unique so are our schools and communities.
By working together, aligned in our vision, values, trust and commitment there really is nothing we cannot achieve.
Feversham Academy was established in 1984 as an Independent Muslim girl’s school with approximately 24 pupils on roll. In 2001 the school joined the state sector as a voluntary aided school before converting to Academy status in 2011. The school now has a PAN of 120 in all year groups and will have an expected 840 on roll by 2016 (including sixth form).
Feversham Academy has consistently ranked in the first percentile in the country for value added.
In 2011 we opened Feversham First Steps Nursery, rated outstanding by Ofsted in the same year. The nursery now has more than a hundred 0 – 5 year olds on roll and continues to thrive as a beacon of best practice.
Feversham Academy was awarded teaching school status in 2012 and we have an established legal partnership with Skipton Girls High School for both our Teaching Schools; Northern Lights Teaching School Alliance. We work with over 20 key partners on improving outcomes for learners, leadership development and recruitment of teachers.
Feversham Academy is also a National Support School, the Headteacher being a National Leader of Education.
We are driven by a moral imperative, every child deserves the highest quality of education, pupils only get one chance.
Our proposal for an 11-16 girls Free School with a four form entry called Bronte Girls Academy (BGA) has been approved and we hope to open our doors in September 2019.
We are delighted to announce that in collaboration with the DfE and the ESFA, a site has now been secured for the new Bronte Girls Academy free school. The new secondary academy will be located in BD4 and will be built on the now empty Future House office grounds. The Free School will serve the surrounding community, offering 600 student places and will be open for the start of the 2019 academic year.
FET is currently working on the design of the school as well as the education program from the ground up, based on the most current research on how students learn best. It is a very exciting time for the Trust as we can now see all our hard work from the vision of the initial Free School bid to the reality of creating the actual finished product coming to fruition.
