Ffynone House School is recruiting for a Geography Teacher from September 2025. A vacancy is available for a passionate and engaging Geography teacher to join this vibrant school community in the heart of Swansea. This is a part-time, permanent position.

Ffynone House is an independent school and charitable trust that provides a first-class, all-round education for every child. With around 125 students on roll, each pupil is treated as an individual to ensure they achieve their full potential. Small class sizes ensure that our students are confident and eager to learn, allowing our staff to focus on delivering excellent outcomes. The school's ethos promotes a desire for achievement and success, both in and out of the classroom.

The successful candidate will have engaging ideas regarding enthusing students about learning and improving their core geographical skills and be fully committed to enabling every pupil to progress. The ability and confidence to teach Geography across both KS3 and KS4 is essential. All teaching staff are expected to immerse themselves in the wider life of the school through extracurricular involvement. We welcome applications from both experienced teachers and those at the start of their career journey.

We offer:

  • Small Class Sizes
  • Supportive Atmosphere
  • Family Environment
  • Autonomy in curriculum design
  • Extracurricular Engagement
  • Well-being Support

We are an equal opportunities organisation and are proud of the diversity of our school community, therefore we encourage all applications regardless of ethnicity, gender, age, disability, sexual orientation or religion.

Please be aware interviews will be taking place on Friday 23rd May.
