Four Acres Academy is looking to appoint two enthusiastic and self-motivated apprentice teaching assistants who will join our committed and successful team. The successful candidates will be hard-working, flexible, creative and driven to providing the highest standards for our pupils.
You will join a team of dedicated support staff, many of whom have completed apprenticeships themselves. The successful candidates will have good interpersonal skills and the motivation to work as part of a team. Our school has a determination to improve the lives of our children and uses positive relationships effectively to deliver this ambition. Candidates will be expected to show how they are able to develop positive relationships with pupils and our committed staff.
This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone wanting to start their journey as a teaching assistant. We can offer a school-based mentor who will liaise with the local provider tutor to strive towards your successful completion level 3 teaching assistant qualification.
The Academy
Four Acres Academy is a 60 pupil entry primary school with capacity for 483 pupils aged 2-11 (including a 2 year old nursery provision). Each class has a teacher and teaching assistant, creating a collaborative approach to supporting our pupils. We have lead TAs who will support your journey to qualification. We have amazing grounds, a forest school area and great resources. We have recently had an Ofsted inspection, which was deemed good, with outstanding for personal development.
