Exciting KS2 Teaching Opportunity- Fixed Term Position (in the first instance)

Francis Askew Primary School are seeking to appoint:

A KS2 Teacher (fixed for 1 year, with potential for this to become a permanent position).

Closing date for applications: Thursday 19th May 2022, 9am.

Francis Askew Primary School has around 420 pupils on roll and is situated in the West of the city of Kingston Upon Hull in the community of Gipsyville. The school moved into a new building in January 2016 with modern facilities and generous outdoor space.

Francis Askew Primary School, requires a KS2 teacher who is ambitious, innovative and excited about empowering children to make rapid progress in their learning. This is a fixed term post for 1 year, with a potential for this to be made permanent after this point.

We need an exceptional teacher who would thrive in a school which puts children at its heart. Francis Askew is a school where staff’s professional development is high on the agenda. The school has developed an innovative curriculum which ensures children are making swift progress and gaps are being closed. • Has a proven track record of effective teaching in KS2

• Plans effectively to provide a progressive curriculum that is ambitious for all

• Understands how to adapt teaching and learning to meet the needs of SEND and those from disadvantaged backgrounds

• Is committed to and passionate about high quality teaching

• Is ready to learn as part of a team and be challenged to become the best they can be
