Salary: Grade 15 Point 3 - 4 £9.62 - £9.81 per hour & 12.1% Holiday Allowance

We are looking to recruit a part-time learning mentor to support small groups of students in Years 9 – 11 whose academic progress may have been adversely affected by the coronavirus pandemic.
Individuals taking up this role will be required to work on a flexible basis on weekdays between 10am-4pm, averaging 15-20 hours per week for the rest of the academic year. Learning mentors may also be asked to contribute towards weekend and holiday intervention activities.
Candidates should have expertise and enthusiasm for specific subjects offered at Frome College and be willing to share this with other young people.
You will be assisting students in the completion of homework, coursework and other intervention tasks. Strong communication skills, patience and empathy will be vital for this role.
