Futura Learning Partnership is an academy trust of 20 primary and six secondary schools in the South West of England. Our ultimate purpose is captured in our mission statement:

Our ‘cross-phase’ nature is very important to us. Our educational practices are underpinned by a strong understanding of a child’s education from 2 to 19, with a curriculum planned to provide both progression and continuity across this age range. This helps pupils transition successfully between phases and prepares young people for successful adult life.

Inclusion and equity sit at the heart of our trust. Our approach recognises that everyone is unique, and we firmly believe that every child has the potential to succeed in school and life.

Each of our schools retains its distinctive characteristics and is truly representative of its pupil body and local community.

Collaboration enhances everything we do. Colleagues come together from across the trust to share best practices and develop new approaches. This helps us provide opportunities for pupils, staff, and communities beyond those an individual school can provide.

Futura Learning Partnership comprises 26 schools that work together to provide exceptional learning opportunities for nearly 12,000 children and young people aged two to 19. We have over 1,500 staff, whose success and well-being are a high priority for us.

Each of our schools is rooted in its community and benefits from being part of a wider, outward-looking trust.

Futura is an inclusive trust and welcomes all children. We have a dedicated Special Educational Needs and Disabilities lead who works across all schools to meet children’s needs.

We have a strong track record in school improvement and work closely with the five local authorities in the areas we serve: Somerset, North Somerset, Bath & North East Somerset, South Gloucestershire, and Bristol. We continue to develop partnerships and links that can help influence and improve teaching and learning and the welfare of our pupils and staff.

Our central team looks after business needs, including finance, premises, HR and IT, giving school leaders more time to concentrate on the education and wellbeing of the people in their community.
