Wellsway School is looking to appoint a well-qualified and enthusiastic teacher of science who, under the guidance of the Director of Science, will teach across the age and ability range. As a teacher at our school, you will be responsible for ensuring that every student enjoys an excellent experience in your lessons and will work closely with the rest of the team in planning and delivering interesting and engaging sequences of lessons.
If you are a highly effective teacher, able to form excellent educational relationships with students and are able to contribute to the development of schemes of learning, we would love to hear from you. The ability to teach the whole science curriculum at Key Stages 3 to 4 is essential and A-level physics is essential. As a teacher of science, you would teach classes across the Wellsway campus, allowing you to teach in the specialist facilities at IKB as well as at Wellsway School.
This is a fantastic opportunity and the post would be suitable for experienced practitioners as well as early career teachers, who would be able to benefit from our successful and supportive Futura Learning Partnership Induction Programme.
